Field Trips are for students K-3rd grade.

**Home school groups or pre-schools please come on a day we are open to the public.

All students and parents/chaperones pay $5 for the tour/$6 with apple cider. Teachers are always free!

Field trips have 3 three rotations:

  1. educational presentations on how food is grown, bee hives, and chickens
  2. a wagon ride
  3. picking in-season fruits or vegetables
    • In Fall participants generally pick pumpkins. This is subject to change based on the availability of produce.

Please select a 9:00 am field trip (if your school uses private transportation) or a 10:00 am field trip (if your school uses CCSD busses). * For 2022 we know CCSD will use charter busses. Bus reimbursement grants available call or text 702-419-4253.
You need as many “spots” as the combined number of students, teachers, and parents that are in your group.
Please make sure you are including the total number of parents even if the parents will be paying for themselves.

A water bottle is strongly encouraged, as the kids will be running through the maze, and during the warmer months, the kids get thirsty.
Closed toed shoes, hats, and sunscreen. Bottled water is available as an add on when booking a spring field trip.

We must know of ALL chaperones coming, even if they are not being paid for by your school. Unless you have special circumstances, we cannot allow a chaperone ratio of greater than 1 adult: 7 kids, as we want as many children as possible to have the opportunity to benefit from a field trip.

No, we are not open on field trip days. We will have some items for purchase.
Items will depend on availability and change weekly.

Yes, we have dozens of picnic tables under a shade shelter.

Absolutely! If your group is smaller than 50 or does not fit our age guidelines, we encourage unguided tours on the days that we are open for business. Entrance to the orchard is free, wagon rides are free (although the wagons may or may not be running on the day you come), and you are welcome to use our picnic tables. You may pick our produce and pay by the pound.
